The demands on today’s women leave little time for personal growth and development. Yet each year since 2003, more than 300 women have convened on a Fall Sunday for Woman2Woman Lancaster. In fact, this event has become so popular that it quickly outgrew its home at Mulberry Art Studios and moved to the YWCA of Lancaster.

Each event has been filled with the excitement of creativity, the joy of movement, the wonder of discovery, and the fun of building new friendships.

The workshops, each focused on the event's annual theme, have encouraged empowered approaches to personal development and/or taught practices for nurturing body, mind, and spirit in areas such as:

- Mindfulness
- Holistic health
- Creative expression
- Movement

Previous themes have included: "A Day for Creativity and Exploration"; "Nurturing Self, Creating Community" and "Celebrate the Journey."

Our Services providers have a firm belief in the power of knowledge to alleviate fear. To that end, they have always offered, risk-free, an array of services that may otherwise be a bit difficult to find in Lancaster without a personal contact. Receiving a free service has always been a very popular part of each event.

To add to the festive atmosphere, a Marketplace has been included since the beginning to support a variety of local women artisans as they strive to promote their work and grow their businesses. From hand-crafted jewelry to clothing, pottery to chocolates and much more, each event has held something for everyone.

And finally, what gathering of women would be complete without good food? An eclectic group of local cafes, ethnic eateries, and specialty dessert shops have presented items that complemented the events perfectly and allowed women a chance come together over a sandwich, pastry or coffee and get to know one another.

Although the event has grown, the environment is still like an annual gathering of friends; warm, safe, and inviting. We welcome you to attend and become a part of our history.
